My Role:  Sr. Project Manager, Space planner & retail expert

In addition to management & department store spacing planning, an interesting facet of my role on this project was to train and coach the Toronto office team assigned in retail design and department store nuanced requirements. 

 

The team, while technically adept, had no experience in retail design and it was my duty to cultivate and bring the team along to meet our clients’ expectations. This involved everything from detailing to specific drawing set arrangements typically required.  The project involved acting as both overall strategic store planner for the store renovation and AOR for Holt’s flagship new café, luxury hall and shoe room, in addition to designing a new façade along the historic ‘mink mile’ stretch of Bloor Street.
